We have a resident that moved in last week ,that is in the beginning stages of the dementia journey. As he tries to settle in and find his way , he is so drawn to all of our visual art. He can name and “tell a story” about each of them. It pacifies him ,brings him security as he orientates his self. His favorite is the set by my office. Daily he kindly asks me to “come see” and he proceeds to educate me on the photograph. It is something I look forward to everyday. Please share with your team and know how much I love what this model stands for and what a privilege it is to see it succeed with this population
